Each stack has a default template, which is used when creating new notes. Setting the default template of a stack can save you having to manually edit many aspects of your notes.

You set the default template of a stack in the stack settings. Tap Edit in the Library, and then tap the stack to go to the settings. Tap on Template to choose a default template from the list.
