Each facet has a setting for whether it can be used as a prompt in a study session. A prompt is shown first, and demands a response. A question is one form of prompt, but another could be a word that requires translation.
Some notes can have several facets that could be used as the prompt when studying. A basic Question and Answer note only has one facet that can be a prompt, namely, the Question, but a note with a translation may have several. Imagine you are learning Spanish; the first facet may contain an English word, and the second facet the Spanish translation. Either could be used as the prompt, because you want to study from English-to-Spanish and Spanish-to-English.
The setting for controlling whether the facet is allowed to be used as a prompt is top-right on the facet. If turned on, the facet can appear first in a set of slides during a study session. If off, it will not appear first.
