Remainder after division

Usage

rem(A, B)

• A and B should be real numeric arrays of compatible sizes.
• It gives the remainder of dividing an element of A by the corresponding element of B. More specifically, for any $a,b\in\mathbb{R}$,

• If A and B have different but compatible sizes, one of them will be expanded to match the size of the other one.

Discussions

• Although both rem and mod give remainders, they use different rounding schemes and give different values when $b=0$.
