Converting an array of integers to a character array

Usage

int2str(A)

• A should be a numeric array.
• It rounds the entries of A to integers and then converts the integers to characters.
• If A contains complex numbers, the imaginary parts are omitted.
• If A is multi-dimensional, it is first reshaped to a matrix (i.e., 2D array) before the conversion.
• If A is a character array, it is first converted to integers and then back to a character array.
• If A is empty, it returns an empty array.

Example

• A multi-dimensional array is reshaped before being converted to a character array.
