Please read the following:

  1. Perfect Video uses the original video (does not copy it from the Camera roll) from your (iPhone, iPod or iPad) so you will need your original video to edit it. DON'T DELETE the video you are editing from your camera roll. You will NOT be able to recover it from within the app.
  2. Perfect Video works on the following Apple devices: iPhone, iPod, and iPad.

It is best to edit videos taken by your Apple device camera app.

If you see a ‘Cannot Decode’ error during video export, the reason for this is probably that your project contains a video which has not been taken with your iPhone/iPod/iPad camera app. Remove this video from the project and try again.

Will my original video in my Camera Roll be deleted if I remove my project?

No. Your original video in the Camera Roll will remain intact.

An error occurred when exporting my video. What do I need to do?

If you see a ‘Cannot Decode’ error during video export, the reason for this is probably that your project contains a video which has not been taken with your iPhone/iPod/iPad camera app. Remove this video from the project and try again.

Restart your iPhone/iPad if the error persists, and try again. If the error occurs again at the same position, create a new project.

What should I do if the video upload to Facebook/YouTube fails?

Please check whether the video uses copyrighted background music. If this is not the problem, please save the video to your iPhone/iPad camera, and then use the Facebook/YouTube app to upload the video.
