Entering into service in 2013, this powerful multi-band satellite provides an expanded mission and superior coverage across the Middle East, North Africa and Central Asia to follow on from the EUTELSAT 25C satellite, which is currently operated at 25.5 degrees East. In addition to offering Ku-band resources, and securing continuity of services for Eutelsat at this established position, EUTELSAT 25B also features Ka-band capacity to open new business opportunities for both parties. The spacecraft's multi-mission architecture will enable Es'hailSat and Eutelsat to respond to demand for the fastest-growing applications in the Middle East and North Africa, including professional video exchange, enterprise communications and government services.
