Yamal 330K is a telecommunications satellite built by Russia's Reshetnev Information Satellite Systems Co. for a division of one of Russia's largest corporation, Gazprom Space Systems (owned by Gazprom, the Russian natural gas and oil supergiant). The spacecraft provides much-needed expansion of the company's telecommunication services across Russia and northern Asia from its orbital slot of 90 degrees East with 8 C-band and 18 Ku-band transponders.
