APRIZESAT 6, an Argentinean communications satellite, was launched from Yasny on 2011 August 17 at 07:12 UT by a Dnepr rocket. The satellite weighed approximately 12 kg and will be used for data collection from small fixed and mobile ground stations. It also carries Automatic Identification System transponders to track ships at sea.
