NIGERIASAT-X, also known as NX, is a Nigerian observation satellite. It was launched from Yasny on 2011 August 17 at 07:12 UT by a Dnepr rocket. The craft weighed 100 kg and was primarily built to train Nigerian engineers in satellite construction techniques. NIGERIASAT-X is equipped with a trispectral imager with a resolution of 22 m. It will join the Disaster Monitoring Constellation, a network of lightweight orbiting spacecraft designed to assist with disaster relief and track environmental changes around the world.

The initial orbital parameters were period = 98.29 minutes, apogee = 697.1 km, perigee = 657.2 km, inclination = 98.3 degrees on 2011 Sep 5 at 04:43:35 UTC.
