Zhongxing 22A is a Chinese (PRC) geostationary communications satellite that was launched by a Long March 3A rocket from Xichang Satellite Launch Center in southwest China on 12 September 2006. It is expected to provide voice and video transmissions, especially during the Beijing Olympics in 2008, after parking over 98 degrees E longitude.
