27847 - CANX-1

CANX 1 is a Canadian (University of Toronto) students-built, photo-imaging nanosatellite that was launched by a Rokot rocket from Plesetsk at 14:15 UT on 2003 June 30. Initial orbital parameters were period 101.4 min, apogee 830 km, perigee 817 km, and inclination 98.7 degrees.

Launched along with Japanese CubeSats XI-IV and CUTE-1, AAU CubeSat, and QuakeSat, CanX-1 was among the first CubeSats to reach orbit.
