27846 - AAU CUBESAT

AAU CUBESAT is a Danish (Aalborg University) student-built photo-imaging nanosatellite that was launched by a Rokot rocket from Plesetsk at 14:15 UT on 2003 June 30. Initial orbital parameters were period 101.4 min, apogee 830 km, perigee 818 km, and inclination 98.7 degrees.

Launched along with CubeSats XI-IV and CUTE-1 of the Tokyo Institute of Technology, QuakeSat and CanX-1, AAU CubeSat was among the first to reach orbit.
