25371 - INTELSAT 805 (IS-805)

INTELSAT 805 is the latest member of the INTELSAT fleet of geosynchronous satellites and was launched by an Atlas 2AS rocket from Cape Canaveral at 22:48 UT. It will provide voice, video, and internet services between Europe and the Americas after parking over at about 40-W longitude.
