It’s not good to tell the employer all the benefits of having you in the payroll. It’s smart to leave something out that you could suddenly recall in case you’re not able to close them. Always leave something out for the Recall Close.
Example:
You might call and say, “I am afraid I missed sharing some important information with you today about a very successful marketing campaign I launched for my previous employer. Could I stop by tomorrow and show you some clippings and videos of the media coverage?”
Be sure to have something that you need to show them, not just tell them about over the phone.
