Physical Dangers:
Dust explosion possible if in powder or granular form, mixed with air.
Chemical Dangers:
The substance may polymerize
due to heating to more than 120°C for more than 12 hours, or
under the influence of catalysts.
The substance decomposes
on burning
producing toxic fumes including nitrogen oxides.
Molten triglycidyl isocyanurate reacts rapidly with primary and secondary amines, carboxylic acids and anhydrides, thiols, phenols and alcohols.
Occupational Exposure Limits:
TLV (as TWA): ppm; 0.05 mg/m3 (ACGIH 1998).

Routes of Exposure:
The substance can be absorbed into the body
by inhalation of its aerosol and
by ingestion.
Inhalation Risk:
Evaporation at 20°C is negligible; a harmful concentration of airborne particles can, however, be reached quickly when dispersed, especially if powdered.
Effects of Short-Term Exposure:
The substance
irritates severely the eyes.
The substance may cause effects on the central nervous system, kidneys, liver, lungs and gastrointestinal tract
