The vapour is heavier than air
and may accumulate in low ceiling spaces causing deficiency of oxygen.
Chemical Dangers:
On contact with hot surfaces or flames this substance decomposes forming toxic fumes including hydrogen bromide and hydrogen fluoride.
Attacks plastic, rubber and coatings.
