If you just double-click on [DATAFILE], or right-click and select 'Open with...', your file may be imported into a spreadsheet with wrong settings.

### Microsoft Excel

1) Start Excel.

2) Select menu File > Open.

3) Find and select [DATAFILE].

4) You will see a 'Text Import Wizard' dialog. Please check that:

- 'Original data type' reads 'Delimited'

- 'File origin' reads '65001: Unicode (UTF-8)'

If everything is OK - your Excel version detects all settings correctly, and in the future you can open this .tab file by just double-clicking on it. If any setting shows a different value - correct it manually.

5) Click Finish.

If everything is OK - your OpenOffice version detects all settings correctly, and in the future you can open this .tab file by just double-clicking on it. If any setting shows a different value - correct it manually.

5) Click OK.
