Men measure under armpits and across nipples, tape level. Women measure under the armpits across upper portion of chest, tape level.

* "Maximum girth" means area where feature is largest in circumference.

General recomendations

• Use a tape measure to record fractions of inches.
• Apply tape firmly, but do not compress the skin.
• Do not take measurements over clothing and do not pump or work out before measuring.
