20th September 2015
🥺
The consequences of being a complex (yet cheap) paid-up-front app finally caught up with Daily Routine.
With sales falling and development/support costs increasing, DR wasn't even close to breaking even. After
4 years and 30+ updates, Jaysen removed DR from the App Store with the hope of eventually relaunching it
as a sustainable product.
Daily Routine's first life
August 2011 to December 2014
31 versions
Daily Routine is launched as an experimental time-management app for iPhone in 2011.
Over the next few years it is expanded to offer sync, iPad support, landscape mode
and dozens of other user-requested features. Apple names Daily Routine amongst its
'best productivity apps' of 2011. Frequently promoted by Apple, Daily Routine finds
its niche with enthusiastic fans.
